The schools per-pupil cost for the 2013-14 school year will be $7,731. The
2013-2014 tuition for one child of a Catholic family that is registered and actively participating in their parish will cost $6,200. The tuition for one child of a non-Catholic or non-affiliated Catholic family will cost $7,200. Tuition will be increased 5%, and this increase is necessary to keep pace with the rising costs. St. Francis' tuition is still much lower than their actual per-pupil cost because they supplement their tuition income with support from their parishes, with support from their foundation, and with fundraising efforts such as the Annual Appeal. Their tuition is also significantly lower than the tuition charged by other area private schools. They have listened to their parents' concerns about large class sizes, and over the past two years they have worked to reduce their class size. They will continue to do so until they achieve their œtarget  class size average of 25 students. Reduced class size is an added value; they must also consider that their tuition income is also reduced while their expenses increase annually. This is another reason why they are grateful for the support from their parishes, foundation, and Annual Appeal.
