Program Information
Curriculum - Our Program is offered to children between 2 and 6 years of age, including a Kindergarten class. Every child must be toilet trained before admission. Each class includes children within a two to three year age range. All rooms are equipped with Montessori materials and apparatus enabling each child to truly progress at his own pace with no arbitrary limitations or restrictions due to age.

Staff - All Directresses are fully trained and certified Montessori teachers. A Directress and a qualified teacher staff each class.

Tuition is an annual fee, due and payable on September 1, 2009. As a convenience, it may be paid in 10 equal installments on the first of each month. The first payment is due September 1, 2009 and a $20 late fee will be assessed if not received by the fifth of the month. There is a $20 charge for any checks returned by the bank. There is no daily, weekly or monthly rate. We offer a 10% discount from the annual tuition for each additional child enrolled from the same family. The $125 insurance and activity fee is due on September 1, 2009. Please contact the school directly for tuition prices!

Occasional or Partial Extended Child Care
For any care before 8:30 a.m. or after 3 p.m., or after 12 noon for Morning students:
If you pay in advance or at the time care is provided, the charge will be $7 per hour in 1 hour minimum increments. If payment is delayed, the fee is $10 per hour. We do not send bills. Child care will end at 5:30 p.m., unless prior arrangements are made for later pickup.

Lunch - Children bring a sack lunch and the school provides milk, juice and healthy snacks. Parents also have the option of ordering school lunches for $5 each, delivered by local restaurants.

Holidays - The school follows the public school calendar, observing the same holidays and vacations. On most holidays, child care is available on a sign-up basis with a minimum of 4 children.

Summer Program - Morning classes are academic and a complete Montessori program is provided. Afternoons are devoted to camp activities including water play, arts and crafts, musical programs and guest entertainers. Complete information is available in the Summer School packet.

Application Fee - A non-refundable $75 application fee must accompany each application.

To apply at the Montessori School of Agoura, please call us to receive our application packet and to schedule a tour and an evaluation of your child's readiness for our program. After your appointed and brief consultation with the director, you will receive your registration papers. Upon acceptance and space availability, your child will be able to start as soon as your registration and fee responsibilities are met.
