Our new West end campus serves both The Child Unique Montessori School Toddler and Pre-Primary students and The Montessori Elementary School of Alameda (MESA) 1st through 5th grade students. This lovely campus includes an enclosed playarea with 2 playstructures upon a soft turf mat, an optional outdoor eating-area with new wood picnic tables, 4 spacious light-filled classrooms, a large auditorium and stage and a separate office, area all within the historic St. Barnabas campus. All classrooms are carpeted.

Age
Students at the Taylor school are 2 - 11 years of age. Diapers are not a pre-requisite for entrance. Children who enter The Child Unique must have transitioned from an attachment to pacifiers, bottles and personal belongings at school.

Classroom Compositions
1 toddler classrooms, 1 Preprimary classroom and 1 Elementary age (grades 1-5) classroom. Average size: 10 children per classroom.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- One month's (non-refundable) tuition due by June 1st or by confirmed enrollment
- $600 (non-refundable) student fees [$300 building fee AND $300 materials fee]
- 20 hours annual parent volunteer hours required per family or $500
- Extended hours for part-time students is $15 per hour

- Sibling Discount 2% off youngest child (first five families)
- Friend Referral Discount 2% off referring family (does not include summer)
- Annual Payment Discount 5% off annual tuition paid by March 1st /3% off annual tuition paid by May 1st
