About Calvary Christian School

Attending CCS is a privilege and not a right. When accepted as a student, one must agree to abide by the standards set by the school. All prospective students (7th-12th only) must have an interview with the Principal and Pastor, complete all applications forms, take an entrance test (new students), and pay registration fees.

Our desire is to keep our tuition as reasonable as is possible. Scholarships and grants are available to qualifying families. The rates are spelled out in the following table. You will notice that there are significant benefits to early enrollment.

How to enroll a child in Calvary Christian School
Thank you for your interest in Calvary Christian school! We are excited about the possibility of you becoming a part of the CCS family. It is our desire to be of help to you in every way we can. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you might have. We are writing to give you helpful steps in enrolling your child in Calvary.

STEP ONE: RECEIVE INFORMATION PACKET
You may pick this up either at the school office or we can mail it to you. Enclosed in this packet will be a school brochure, which will briefly explain our philosophy, the financial considerations, and most importantly, the œproduct of CCS. We would invite you to visit the school; ask any questions you might have; visit the classroom and speak with the teacher. Please make an appointment to visit so we will have someone available to serve as your host.

STEP TWO: FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS
If you have an interest in scholarships or grants or would like special consideration in the area of finances it is VERY IMPORTANT that you discuss this as soon as you receive your information. The scholarships are on a first come-first serve basis so early inquiries are critical. There are limited grants available and many of these are to multi-child families. PLEASE! If you truly want your child in a Christian School environment speak with us concerning finances. DO NOT ASSUME that financial arrangements cannot be worked out--it will not hurt to talk!

STEP THREE: FILL OUT AN APPLICATION
Fill out completely the application including the section to be completed by student. Please give to your Pastor the œPastor Recommendation form. Encourage him to fill it out and return as soon as possible.

STEP FOUR: INTERVIEW
All new families to CCS must set up a time to have an interview with the Pastor and the Administrator. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know each other and to answer questions. If your young person is in grades 7th-12th--the parent and the student must attend the interview.

STEP FIVE: TESTING
All new students must take an evaluation test. This should be arranged with our Administrator.

STEP SIX: ENROLLMENT PACKET
Once a student has been officially accepted the parent should obtain an œEnrollment Packet . Included in this packet will be uniform information, a supply list, insurance information, a teacher information sheet, and a handbook.

Should you have any other questions please feel free to call us. We are here to be of help to you. We are praying that God will direct your life.
