Gesu school has an open admission policy and respects the dignity of students who desire a Catholic school education. Central for all families is the understanding and acceptance that Gesu School is Catholic in philosophy and practice. At the same time, children of all faiths are welcome to enroll.

(**Tuition rate for parishioners' children is $3,800.00 for Grades K through 8).

Our educational cost per student is currently running at approximately $ 5,704.00. The deficit between tuition and actual cost ($1,500) is covered by a combination of fundraising, grants, donations, and the Archdiocese of Detroit. The average financial aid per student is $ 1,708.00 for the current school year. Percentage of students receiving financial aid in 20011-12 is 36%.

Payment Options
One option must be selected upon registration
Option 1: Total tuition amount paid on or before June 25 with $150 discount per student.
Option 2: $300 payment upon registration received by June 24 and three payments due on or before due dates of June 24, 2011, September 16, 2011, and January 20, 2012. Gesu will issue a $50 per student rebate if the THIRD payment is made by the due date of January 20, 2012.
One Student is $1,300.00 due on (6/24/2011), (9/16/2011), and (1/20/2012)
Two Students is $2,467.00 due on (6/24/2011), $2,467 due on (9/16/2011), and $$2,467 on (1/20/2012)
Three Students is $3,050.00 due on (6/24/2011), $3,050.00 due on (9/16/2011), and $3,050 on (1/20/2012)
Option 3: $300 payment upon registration received by June 24 and ten monthly payments to F.A.C.T.S. beginning July 2011 and ending April 2012; Tuition account should be PAID IN FULL by April 27, 2012.

**Pre-School Tuition payments can be made in ten payments of $412 due on August 8th, Sept. 5th, Oct 3rd, Nov. 7th, Dec.5th, Jan. 9th, Feb.6th, Mar. 5th, Apr. 2nd, and May 7th.

Requirements for Registration
$300.00 per child Registration Fee (This is a part of the total tuition)
Completed and signed Registration Application
Signed Financial Contract and selection of payment plan
Copy of child\'s Birth Certificate
Up to date copy of child\'s Immunization Record
Copy of child\'s latest Report Card
Copy of child\'s latest MEAP and/or IOWA test scores
If applicable, copy of child\'s latest IEP, Temporary Placement or 504 Plan
If applicable, copy of any current custody or restraining order
If applicable, copy of any current Letters of Guardianship

** All new students are tested prior to the beginning of the school year. Parents/Guardians will be notified of when and where the testing will take place.

Students will be placed on a class list for the 2011-2012 school year when all of the above requirements are fulfilled as long as there is room available in the requested/approved grade. The registration fee covers fees for registration, books, and expenses and is Non-Refundable after June 10, 2011.
