2013-14 TUITION & FEES

The Board of Education welcomes any families that are interested in education with a Christian based perspective. In order to maintain Zion Lutheran School requires a great deal of financial support. The cost of maintaining Zion Lutheran School is in excess of $4500 per student, per school year. Scholarships are available to assist families in obtaining a quality, Christian education for children.

K-8 Tuition Rates
Zion Lutheran School charges tuition to help cover the cost of educating your child. Tuition is collected on a monthly basis. At registration each family will be required to sign a Tuition Payment Schedule Contract. In accordance with school policy, a late payment will result in a charge of $25 payment.

Zion Member Rate
$1265 per school year, for the first child
$ 980 per school year, for the second child
$ 690 per school year, for the third child
$2935 maximum per family

Other Lutheran Church Member Rate
$1735 per school year, for the first child
$1350 per school year, for the second child
$ 745 per school year, for the third child
$3830 maximum per family

Non-Member Rate
$2350 per school year, for the first child
$1525 per school year, for the second child
$1015 per school year, for the third child
$4890 maximum per family

REGISTRATION/BOOK FEE
All students enrolled in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade will be assessed a non-refundable registration/book fee to cover some of the costs of textbooks, workbooks, religious materials, and other supplies. The book fee is $150 if paid by July 31, 2013 and $200 if paid after then. (no discounts, non-refundable)

ACTIVITY FEE
Field trips, Educational Service Unit #9 services, and similar expenses are covered by a $45 activity fee that is due by August 15, 2013. (no discounts, non-refundable)

ATHLETIC FEES (for participants)
Volleyball (Girls Grades 4-8): $25
Basketball (Boys & Girls Teams, Grades 4-8): $30
Co-Ed Softball (Grades 4-8): $5

PRESCHOOL FEES
Three year old students attend preschool each Tuesday and Thursday and four and five year old students attend preschool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Preschool families may pay tuition in full by October or pay monthly. No discounts apply.

T-T (2 days a week) $85 a month September - April & $42.50 a month August & May
M-W-F (3 days a week) $109 a month September-April & $54.50 a month August & May

$35 Annual Registration/Book Fee is required with registration. (non-refundable).
$30 Annual Milk fee is required prior to the first day of school. (non-refundable).
