REGISTRATION INFORMATION 2012/13
FEES - Registration fee is due at the time of registration for all current school families. Listed below are the 3 options for tuition payment. Please see the chart to the right for specific details & rates.
The first tuition payment for all plans is due by April 20th. There will be a $20 per month late fee if it is not received by that time. Tuition for the remainder of the school year is due on the 1st of each month. The late fee for tuition received after the 6th of the month is $20. Tuition and Registration fees for new school families are due at the time of acceptance.
Option 1 "The 10 month plan will have #2-10 payments due the first of each month Sept. 2012-May 2013.
Option 2 "The 12 month plan tuition. Payments #2-12 are due the first of each month July 2012- May 2013.
Option 3 "Pay in full by Book Day, August 8, 2012.
Payment of tuition may be made with cash or checks.*
Tuition and fees are non-refundable.
*RETURN CHECK FEE: $20. Cash or money order will be re-quired after 2 or more checks are returned insufficient.
Supporting Parishioner's rate applies to families registered in the parish who donate a minimum of $20 per week using Sun-day envelopes. (Excluding the Building Fund). The Sunday collection subsidizes the school budget. Parish support is verified quar-terly . Those not meeting the minimum requirements are changed to the Non Supporting/Out of Parish Rate. Families new to Sacred Heart Parish should submit a verification of support letter from their previous parish in order to receive Supporting tuition rates. Sunday Mass attendance is expected.

~ $200 for current school families if paid by Feb. 24, 2012
~$225 for current school families if paid after Feb. 24, 2012
~$250 for all new families registering at Sacred Heart.
2012/2013 Sacred Heart Catholic Annual School Tuition Rates:
In Parish Supporting* - 1 child: $3500
In Parish Supporting* - 2 children: $5600
In Parish Supporting* 3+ children: $7700

Non Catholic - 1 child: $5900

Development & Technology Fee ~ $225 per family is due by July 2, 2012. The fee increases to $250 if paid after August 8, 2012. This fee will help with the continued development & maintenance of the school facilities and technology. The technology fee will no longer be included in book fees.
NEW STUDENTS - ALL new students must present birth & baptismal certificates. Kindergarten students must be 5 by Sept. 1, 2012. All new students making an initial entrance into Sacred Heart must present certificates of immunization and health form as re-quired by the Dept. of Health & Rehabilitative Services. This is due by August 1st.
NEW STUDENT ACCEPTANCE- All new students applying for grades K-8 must be tested before acceptance. Cost of the test is $15 (grades K-8) payable at the time of the test. New school families will be notified by mail of acceptance.
BOOKS- Books must be purchased. New text & workbooks will be available on œBook Day - Wednesday, August 8th. A list of the books that will be discontinued for the next school year will be available at the end of May. The school doesn't handle the sale of used books, but we urge you to purchase used textbooks in good condition from school families BEFORE Book Day in August. In previous years there has been a used book sale organized by school parents at the end of the school year so check the May school calendar for specif-ics. School book drop off day will be Sunday, August 12th from 1-3 p.m. The First Day of school will be Wednesday, August 15th.
UNIFORMS - Uniforms may be purchased from Reiss Brothers. They will come to school several times each year or orders may be placed online. More information to follow.
NEW FAMILY REFERRAL FEE - Sacred Heart is pleased to be able to continue the $200 New Family Referral Fee for the 2012-13 School year. The award is for any current school family who refers a family that successfully enrolls. The award will be ap-plied to the last tuition payment for the school year. If the new fam-ily leaves prior to the end of the school year, the award will be pro-rated accordingly. The new family must indicate referring family name on the registration form at the time of registration. There is no limit on the num-ber of referrals you can make or the number of awards you can receive!
