Tuition/Financial Aid/Entry Fee Forms

Because Iowa Mennonite School is a private non-profit institution there is no funding from the state to help cover the cost of educating your child. This requires us to charge tuition to attend the school. Our goal is to not let this fee stand in your way of attending IMS; at the same time we do have costs we need to cover so that we can continue to offer a quality education. Tuition at IMS is $7700 per year. Tuition for students attending a financially supporting Mennonite church is $4200 per year.

Iowa Mennonite School is pleased to offer several options for student financial assistance. 38% of students receive some type of financial assistance and the average amount of assistance is $1400 per student. We encourage all families to visit IMS and learn more about us. If you find IMS is a good fit for your family, we will work with you to make it affordable for your family.
Alumni Scholarship

Students/families are eligible to apply for this scholarship according to the guidelines on the application; please note the requirements.
Student Financial Aid

This form is IMS' general application form - all students/families are eligible to apply for this assistance. Students applying for the Alumni Scholarship are automatically ˜enrolled' in this scholarship application, in the event he/she does not receive the freshman scholarship. In other words, a student/family need only apply to one of these two.
Iowa Independent School Tuition Organization

Of the three forms, this is the only application administered off-campus. Please read the eligibility guidelines regarding income prior to applying. If eligible to apply for these funds, please complete the form and mail to the address listed on the form. Please note: you are strongly encouraged to complete this form if you fall under the income guidelines. It is of great benefit to IMS for you to do so, as aid from this source is beyond and above what IMS is typically able to offer. You may also complete one of the first two forms (sent directly to IMS) in addition to this one.
