How to get started at MCA

MCA is a preschool through 12th grade Christian school committed to partnering with parents and the local church to raise up young people to love and serve our Lord. We desire that our admissions process be a smooth and helpful process to you.

Since we know that making this investment in the lives and future of your child(ren) is a significant decision, we have found that the first step in the admission process needs to be a consult with the principal from the school your child will be attending (i.e.preschool, elementary or secondary). The principals have many years of experience helping families make wise decisions about their children's education. So they will consult with you about your goals for your child and determine how Maranatha can help you attain those goals. So please contact the appropriate school office (Preschool - 913-631-9286, Elementary - 913-631-1715 or Secondary - 913-631-0637), and they will set up a time for that consultation.

After that consultation, we encourage you to tour our facilities and set up some time for your child to shadow a current student. We want you and your child(ren) to feel fully informed and welcomed to Maranatha, so the more time you spend on our campus with our students, faculty and leaders, the more confident you will be in your decision. Also, after the consultation, we will give you the appropriate paperwork including application and forms so that you can begin the process of enrolling.

We seek to make our school accessible to people of many economic levels. We do this by offering a competitively priced tuition rate:

Elementary - $5,610

We offer multi-child discounts and we desire to help all families committed to Christian education find a way to be part of the MCA family. We would be honored to sit down with you and determine if we can partner with you financially to make joining the Maranatha Family attainable for you.

If you are already convinced that Maranatha Christian Academy is the right place for your child(ren) and you, then you can start the admission process by completing the application and sending the following into our offices ¦

* New family application fee of $25.00.

* A copy of each student's most recent report card.

* The results of their most recent standardized test.

* Pastor's Recommendation Form. (Give to your pastor to be completed and then mailed to us.)

Once all of these materials have been received and reviewed, you will be contacted to arrange an appointment for your new family/student interview.
