Tuition for the 2012-13 school year is as follows:
Upper Campus Boarding Tuition: $47,650

The Tuition Refund Plan is required for those not paying in full by August 1, 2012. The cost of the plan is 3.8% of the net tuition. The Tuition Refund Plan is recommended but not required for Plan A.
International Services Fee (mandatory for international students): Annual fee of $1,100 to cover postage, telephone, travel coordination, and other expenses associated with international students.
Accident Insurance (optional): Covers $1,000 of eligible expenses per incident for a cost of $139.
Activities: Materials for special activities and hobbies not included in the regular curriculum.
Allowance: $10 is issued each week to boarders.
Damages: The School assumes all normal wear and tear, but students should understand that they are responsible for all willful or easily avoidable damage to school property.
Dispensary: Antibiotics, vaccines, medicines dispensed by the school nurse. $85.00/year
ESL (English as a Second Language): Grades 7,8,9 meet 4-15 periods per week with a lead and resource instructor where needed. $1,725 - $5,975/year, depending on curricular needs. Grade 6 receives one-on-one instruction and follows the tutoring fee schedule.
Health Services Fee: $200/year for boarders.
Laundry: Laundry charges are billed three times yearly commencing in November (estimated at $870 per year).
Music Lessons (Upper Campus): Private music lessons are billed in four installments over the course of the year ($1,450 per year).
Photo (Sports): Athletic team photos.
Postage: Stamps for letters sent home.
School Store: Individual purchases including textbooks, supplies, shampoo, toothpaste, sundries and athletic items (apart from uniforms and equipment supplied by the school). CT sales tax is charged on taxable purchases.
Telephone: Parents and students can purchase calling cards in the school store.
Testing: Charges for aptitude and achievement tests administered by the School, testing at centers for SSAT and special testing required by preparatory schools or requested by parents.
Transportation (student): Transportation for medical visits, to and from airports, trains and buses at vacations and weekends.
Trips (school): Tickets, meals, transportation for optional special trips and entertainment, and secondary school admission interviews.
Tutoring: Optional instruction (supportive and remedial), billed in three installments over the course of the year.
