About Mt. St Mary Academy
Mount St. Mary Academy is a Catholic Christian secondary school for young women, founded in 1851, and sponsored by the Religious Sisters of Mercy of the South Central Regional Community and grounded in their charisms of compassion, mercy, and justice. It is the oldest educational institution in continuous operation in the State of Arkansas.
Mount St. Mary Academy welcomes approximately 500 students in grades 9 through 12. The school draws its students from the greater Little Rock area, as well as Benton, England, Roland, Hot Springs, Cabot, Conway and Pine Bluff. Mount St. Mary admits Catholic and other-than-Catholic students. Annually, 98 to 100 percent of the graduates pursue a college education.
