Tuition & Fees (Dates and fees are subject to change. Please call to confirm.)

Application Fee:
A $75 application fee is due February 1st, along with the completed Application for Admission. This one-time non-refundable fee is for new applicants only and covers the cost of the application process. Tuition assistance applicants are not required to pay the application fee.

Registration Deposit:
A $500 registration deposit is due along with the Annual Registration Form and Contract. This deposit is applied to tuition at the time of enrollment but is non-refundable should the application be withdrawn. The registration deposit and contract for returning students are due March 1st.

Tuition and Fees for 2013 - 2014:
Tuition is payable in two installments billed prior to the due date. An alternative payment schedule may be arranged through the business office. A 1% interest charge is applied to all outstanding monthly balances.

Children\'s House half day = $8,700

Children\'s House full day and Elementary = $12,440

Junior High = $15,710

Annual Giving:
Tuition covers approximately 90% of the cost of educating each Lake Country Student. Annual Giving along with all other fundraising efforts at Lake Country School help to balance the operating budget that funds the school\'s mission "to help children prepare themselves for life. Annual Giving is essential to maintaining the exceptional educational environments that children experience daily, and every Lake Country family is expected to participate in Annual Giving according to their means.

Community Fee:
A $125 community fee is billed annually to each family. This fee supports the cost of school publications, parent education, and school events.

Extended Day:
All students who arrive prior to and/or stay beyond regular school hours must join the Extended Day program. Children\'s House extended day is by contract only, and the fee is $6.00 per hour, billed monthly based on the contractual agreement. Elementary and Junior High students can use extended day with a contract for $6.00 per hour, or can come without a contract at the drop-in rate of $8.00 per hour. Junior High students are only charged for extended day programming after school. Contracts may be changed on a monthly basis.

Tuition Assistance:
Tuition Assistance scholarships are offered to all eligible families to the extent that funds are available. Eligibility is determined in part by application through School and Student Service for Financial Aid, which must be submitted to them by March 15, along with a $39 per-family application fee. SSS forms are available at https://www12.student-1.com/SSSNet/ for online filing. Also required is the LCS part of the application, available on the LCS website. Award notifications will be made by May 15 with priority given to applications from returning families. Families must apply each year to receive consideration.
