About Temple Christian School

Registration fees are due at the time of enrollment and are NON-REFUNDABLE for any reason. Curriculum fees are due on or before August 1st. A $30.00 testing fee will be charged for new students. If a student is withdrawn before the first day of school, curriculum fees are 100% REFUNDABLE. After the first day of school, curriculum fees are 50% REFUNDABLE until the start of the second semester. After second semester begins, curriculum fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Temple Christian School offers the following scholarship programs: VPK, Step-Up For Students, and McKay. There are also a limited number of scholarships provided by Temple Baptist Church. These scholarships range in value from $300.00 to $2,000.00. Please contact the school office for additional information concerning any of the financial assistance programs that are available. IT IS OUR SINCERE DESIRE TO MAKE CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AS AFFORDABLE AS POSSIBLE.
If a student withdraws for any reason during the course of the school year, all payments will be considered due through the end of the monthly tuition period in which the student last attended. Accounts must be current before permanent records can be forwarded to another school.

K-3 Half Day $2,400.00 ($240.00 per month)
K-4 Half Day VPK Voucher
K-3 Full Day $3,600.00 ($360.00 per month)
K-4 Full Day VPK + $1,800.00 ($180.00 per month)
*VPK Vouchers include registration, curriculum, and tuition for Half Day K-4 students.

First Child: $4,000.00 ($400.00 per month)
Second Child: $3,500.00 ($350.00 per month)
Third Child: $3,000.00 (300.00 per month)
NOTE: Full scholarship recipients do not qualify for any family discounts.
Exceptional Student Education $4,000.00 ($400.00 per month)
*An additional amount, normally paid through the McKay Scholarship, will be charged for individual tutoring. McKay scholarship students will be reimbursed for uniforms up to $350 only with receipt of purchase.

Policy

This school is a private Christian school providing an academically sound, Bible-based education. We extend the opportunity to be a part of the TCS family to all who meet our admission requirements.
Non-Discrimination Policy

Temple Christian School is committed to welcoming students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origins. Temple Christian staff members and students are required to abide by this policy. No staff member or student is permitted to participate in or support any action, verbal or otherwise, which is intended to harm, injure, harass, or insult any other staff member or student on the grounds of sex, race, or ethnic origin. Anyone violating this policy will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, which may result in dismissal from Temple Christian School.
Enrollment and Financial Procedures

Enrollment for all students will be finalized upon completion of the following:
1. An interview and approval from the Pastor or Principal. NOTE: No one will be permitted to enroll in Temple Christian School who is above the age of 19.
2. Completion of all required entrance exams and payment of any testing fees.
3. Application packets signed and dated by both parents or legal guardian(s). Students in the Learning Center must sign a Cheating Offense Guideline Form.
4. Registration fees must be paid BEFORE a student is officially enrolled and are NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON. Registration of returning students will not be considered until all past-due accounts are paid in full.
5. Tuition can be paid on a monthly basis. For those requesting to do so, the total amount will be divided into ten equal payments. Payments will be due on the tenth of each month "August through May. A $30.00 late fee will be added to any account more than 15 days past due. Such late fee will be assessed each month until the account is made current.
6. Report cards cannot be given out unless all financial obligations have been met.
7. When an account becomes delinquent 45 days, the child/children cannot be permitted to attend classes until all past due amounts have been paid in full.
8. If a student withdraws for any reason during the course of the school year, tuition will be considered due through the end of the financial month in which the student last attended. All fees must be paid BEFORE permanent records can be forwarded to another school.
9. Any returned checks will result in a $30.00 service charge.
10. Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten parents must pay $20.00 per day for absences that the VPK program does not financially cover.
RE-ENROLLMENT

Students re-enrolling must complete all of the enrollment policies that apply. Temple Christian School reserves the right to refuse re-enrollment to any student or family who has demonstrated disharmony regarding the purpose, objectives, standards, policies, rules, and regulations of the school. In addition, no family may be re-admitted unless all past financial obligations have been met. Re-enrollment is open to Temple Baptist Church members and currently enrolled students one month prior to registration being opened to the general public.
