About Eldorado Emerson Private School

School begins at 9:00am and ends at 3:00pm each weekday, beginning in Kindergarten. We offer before school care, from 7:30am to 9:00am, and after school care, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, for $5 per hour, $2.50 per hour for siblings.

International Student Enrollment information
Host Family: We have families available. Monthly host family fees range $1,150 - $1,400/month. Includes transportation & meals (except school-day lunches). If student arranges their own housing: Families are preferred; Home must include at least one caregiver, age 30 or older who accepts general responsibility for the student; Roommates (even over age 30) are not acceptable because they are not responsible for the student's care. Homestay rules apply to all Eldorado Emerson students, including students age 18 and older.
- Health Insurance (necessity): Student's responsibility. Approx. $500/yr. We can provide a list of potential companies.
- Transportation (if needed): Approximately $250 per month paid directly to the driver of the vehicle.
- Tuition: $22,500 per year Grades 7 - 12 (ESL classes included). $20,500 per year Grades Kinder - 6 (no separate ESL classes). $1,000 sibling discount. Entire tuition amount is due in advance for the 11-month school year. Tuition deposit of $2,500 is due for I-20 Form to be issued. If student cannot obtain F-1 visa, and a letter stating this (from an official) is presented, $1,500 will be refunded. Remaining annual tuition is due before student's start date. Student is not permitted to attend classes until remaining tuition paid in full. If remaining tuition is not received within 7 days of student's start date, then the offer to attend Eldorado Emerson may be withdrawn and student's I-20 will be cancelled. Tuition includes all fees: Admission, Registration, Textbooks, Art, Music, Science Labs, PE, Lockers. Tuition does not include host family, food, transportation, or musical instruments.
