Rochester Montessori School Tuition and Fees 2012 - 2013
Rochester Montessori School, located on a fifteen-acre campus, currently provides a complete Montessori education for children from toddlers through sixth grade. Plans are already underway to offer the Montessori middle school experience for children in grades seven and eight. Our programs are further enhanced by classes in Spanish as well as instruction in music, art, and physical education. Children also participate in field experiences and service programs.

Application $75
Admission to Rochester Montessori School begins with a tour of the school, a classroom observation, and submission of an admission application and the nonrefundable application fee.

Tuition
Tuition is paid in ten installments beginning in June and then for nine months, September through May respectively. Payments are collected through automatic withdrawal.

Half Day Children's House and Toddler Programs $5,770/year
Full Day Children's House and Toddler Programs $9,620/year
Elementary 1 and Elementary 2 $9,620/year
Middle School $9,620/year
Multiple-Child Discounts. The School offers a $500 discount for the third child and $1,000 for each additional child. To receive this discount, families must have at least one child enrolled in the Elementary Program. An exception to this is granted in the case of triplets or more.

Security Deposit $500
A one-time, non-transferable deposit is due when a child is enrolled into the School. The security deposit is returned when your child completes the school year. You may roll your security deposit over to the following school year if your child is continuing. Withdrawal of a child prior to the beginning ofthe school year or withdrawal of a child during the school year will result in forfeiture of the security deposit. Your security deposit will be returned, however, if the School recommends withdrawal of your child. Failure to pay the security deposit may result in loss of placement.

Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) $35
This yearly fee is due with the first tuition payment. These funds support the annual activities of the PTSA.

Building Fee $480
The building fee is assessed per family to defer the costs associated with the building acquisition. The yearly, nonrefundable fee, is due with the second tuition payment.

Elementary Class Fee $75
Please note, there may be additional fees to support larger outings (i.e., Eagle Bluff).

Middle School Class Fee $150
Please note, there may be additional fees to support larger outings.

Additional Services
Early Arrival (7:30 - 8:30) $6.25/day
Late Pickup 1 (3:00 - 4:30 Toddler/Children's House) $6.50/day
Late Pickup 1 (3:15 - 4:30 Elementary 1) $6.50/day
Late Pickup 1 (3:15 - 4:30 Elementary 2) $6.50/day
Late Pickup 2 (3:30 - 5:30) $9.25/day
Reservations are taken in August. Limited drop-ins may be available.

After School Studios
RMS offers a variety of After School Studios during the school year to enhance learning. Recent Studios have included foreign languages, the arts, robotics, dance, and music. Classes and fees are announced during the year, and information is available in the office.

Summer Programs
RMS summer programs are offered for eight weeks beginning the week after the regular school year ends. Information and costs are generally available in the office in February.

Tuition Assistance
RMS offers limited tuition assistance on a first-come, first-serve basis to qualifying families. Please stop in the office for more information
