Tuition Assistance Information
The primary purpose of the tuition assistance program is to provide financial assistance to parents or guardians of domestic children attending Capistrano Valley Christian Schools who demonstrate financial need.
CVCS recognizes that the family bears the primary responsibility for financing their child's education to the extent they are able. CVCS seeks to supplement that provision when needed, taking into account total income, assets, number of dependents, and other appropriate information. Tuition assistance is available for tuition only to all qualifying students or siblings in grades KG through 12.
Tuition assistance is offered on an annual basis; therefore, parents or guardians must re-apply for tuition assistance every school year. Please note that in order for your application to be submitted to the Financial Assistance Committee for review, you must either return your re-enrollment contract or new student application together with payment. ¨ ¨To apply for tuition assistance, please carefully review the tuition assistance instructions below which outline the required documents needed to process your application. ¨ ¨Upon receipt of the application and ALL required documents, the Financial Assistance Committee will review the information and make a determination of need. Applications are processed in the order they are received and priority status will be given to those families who complete all the requirements by March 31, 2012.
Following the Financial Assistance Committee's review, applicants will be notified by mail of the committee's decision. All copies of the applications submitted to CVCS will be kept in secure, confidential files at the school, until no longer needed, and then they will be destroyed.
