About West Coast School for Human Development
ADMISSIONS
We are excited that you are interested in seeking admission to Westcoast School. All the information that you need can be found on this page. Westcoast admits students who, along with their parents, are looking for a quality Christian education. Hard work and a heart for learning are necessary for success. Our admissions procedures and forms are available below. Questions about admissions information can be directed to Admissions@westcoastschool.org .
Are you seeking a Christian Education?
Due to the importance of parental involvement in the education of children, the admissions procedure requires that both parents are present for the initial interview. The parents must read and sign the admissions contract and be willing to have their child trained in accordance with those statements. In addition, the parents must understand that the school has full discretion in the discipline and grade placement of their child. They must be willing to meet their financial obligations to the school and support the school with their prayers and tuition.
Is your child ready for the academic challenge?
All prospective students applying for admission to Westcoast School must take a diagnostic placement test to determine grade placement. Testing may be waived in the case where standardized achievement test results not less than one year old are provided. Students in kindergarten must be 5 years old by October 1 of the school year. Students entering other grades must have successfully completed the prior grade and all academic records from the prior school must be transferred.
Is Westcoast School right for your child?
Westcoast School is not the school for all students. Acceptance into the program is at the discretion of the administration and may be limited due to availability of class space. All first-time students are admitted under probationary status. After successful completion of the first semester the student is granted either full or conditional acceptance.
