Teens benefiting from Island View are those who require a structured, 24 hours per day environment composed of a strategic therapy program, a diversified activity component, a fully accredited on-campus school, an in-house medical/psychiatric service and a strong, positive peer environment. Perspective residents may also include a young person who has been emotionally stabilized in a psychiatric hospital or ward, but who requires additional intensive care, or whose outpatient regime has proved ineffective.
