Tuition may be paid in one of three methods:
1.) Tuition in full paid on or before August 1st, 2012. A 5% discount will be applied.
2.) Tuition paid in10 monthly installments. The first payment due August 1, 2012, the last payment is
due May 1, 2013.
3.) Tuition paid in 11 monthly installments. The first payment is due July 1, 2012, the last payment is
due May 1, 2013.

MULTI-SIBLING TUITION DISCOUNT
Tuition is discounted for the 2nd child by 20%, 3rd and any additional children by 25%.
GETHSEMANE LUTHERAN CHURCH ACTIVE MEMBER TUITION DISCOUNT
A 23% discount on tuition is granted to ACTIVE members of Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Approval from the Pastor will be requested upon our receipt of the Application for Admission. Families will be notified upon approval. Church member discount applies to TUITION ONLY.

TUITION PAYMENTS
Tuition payments are due by the 5th of each month. Accounts that are not paid current by the 20th of each month will be charged a $30.00 late fee. Account details are available on the RenWeb online system via ParentsWeb.
The PAY NOW feature on ParentsWeb allows payments to be made online. The cost for an e-check is 85 cents per transaction. The cost for credit card use is 3.75% of the transaction amount.

We can facilitate payment of tuition through automatic deductions from checking/savings or charged to credit card. There is no fee for checking/savings transactions; 3.5% of the transaction amount for credit cards. Forms are available in the school office.

TUITION ASSISTANCE
The Arizona Tax Credit for Private School Tuition allows various Student Tuition Organizations to award scholarships based on student recommendation and/or financial need. One such organization is the Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization (ACSTO). Information is available online at www.acsto.org. These organizations have varying deadlines for application. Please contact the school office for more information.

TECHNOLOGY FEE
A technology fee will be charged for the purpose of computer equipment upkeep, curriculum software, and other technology needs. The fees have been set according to percentage of lab usage time as follows:
Preschool 3, Pre-K & Kindergarten: $30.00/year
1st - 4th Grade: $70.00/year
5th-8th Grade: $90.00/year

P.E. UNIFORM FEE (5th - 8thGRADE ONLY)
All students in Grades 5-8 are required to wear the official GLS P.E. uniform for P.E. classes.
5th -8th Grade $30.00 will provide two GLS t-shirts and one pair of shorts.

HOT LUNCH PROGRAM
Hot lunch is available for our students if they wish. The meals are ordered and paid for on a monthly basis. The hot lunch
program is available only when school is in session.
BAND FEES
Students in grades 4-8 are eligible for band. The fee is to assist us in paying for the music teacher and the music.

RATES WHEN SCHOOL IS IN SESSION
These rates apply to children of parents who wish their child to have full day childcare, meaning before and after normal
school hours (within the hours of 6:30am to 6:30pm). These weekly fees are in addition to school tuition.
3's 2-Day T-TH $60.00 per week

3's & Pre-K 5-Day M-F $120.00 per week
K-8th Grade 5-Day M-F $75.00 per week
All children $9.50 Hourly Childcare Rate

PAYMENTS FOR CHILDCARE
Extended childcare payments are made weekly. Payments should be made on Monday of the current week, paying in advance for your child's attendance for the week. No bills will be sent. Statements are available upon request.
A late pick-up fee is charged after 6:30 p.m. From 6:31 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. the charge will be $10.00, with an additional $1.00 per minute charge after 6:45 p.m. This will be charged to your account.
Credit will be given on extended childcare fees when a child is ill 5 consecutive days or more.

RATES WHEN SCHOOL IS NOT IN SESSION
The following are rates for the days when school is not in session. This includes teacher conference days, holidays,
Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Break, Spring Break etc. These rates will go into effect June 1, 2011.
$ 180.00 Weekly for the first child when paid on or before Monday of each week.
$ 200.00 Weekly for 4-day childcare
$ 150.00 Weekly for 3-day childcare
$ 100.00 Weekly for 2-day childcare
$ 50.00 Weekly for 1-day childcare
It will be necessary to enroll your child in advance of all school holidays including teacher conference days, holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Breaks, etc. This will enable the daycare center to be adequately staffed. Your account will be charged the applicable fee at the start of the week. If your account is not current, payment is due the first day of childcare.
A daily rate of $50.00 will be charged for childcare for any parent that wishes to place the child in full-day childcare for the day when the school is not in session, but when the daycare center is open. Your account will be credited for the extended childcare fee associated with the day in which your child was not in extended childcare due to the school not being in session.
Example #1 - The school is closed for President's Day, however the daycare is open. Your child is in 2nd grade and is in extended childcare. You place your child in full-day childcare for President's Day (Monday). Your weekly fee would be $110.00 [Extended childcare rate of $75 less credit of $15 (1/5 of $75 rate) for Monday, plus $50 for full-day childcare]. $75 - $15+ $50 = $110.00 fee.
Example #2 - The school is closed for President's Day, however the daycare is open. Your child is in 2nd grade and is in extended childcare. However, your child stays home for the day. Your weekly fee would be $60.00 [Extended childcare rate of $75 less credit of $15 (1/5 of $75 rate) for Monday]. $75 - $15= $60.00 fee
