Schools in the Topeka Region of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas are funded on the stewardship model; therefore, this school\'s tuition represents only a portion of the cost of educating each student (approximately $5350/year). Tuition for one child is $1200 a year. St. Matthew Parish embraces its responsibility to pass on their Catholic Faith by providing a significant portion of the cost of educating each child. However, Catholic families attending St. Matthew School are asked to also embrace the stewardship model by financially supporting their parish, whether it is St. Matthew or another Catholic parish, and by sharing their time and talents with the school and the parish. Ideally, Catholic schools on the stewardship model should be supported financially 60% by school families, 30% by the parish and 10% by fundraising.
For Catholics from other parishes, their home parish will assist with paying for their child's education, and the family should discuss with their pastor before enrolling at the school. For students whom are in a non-Catholic households, the cost per student is $3700 (this is in addition to the application fee), which is approximately 70% of the actual cost per student.
Families who are in a financial position to do so are encouraged to prayerfully consider paying the entire cost of educating their student(s), and any amount paid above the stated tuition is tax deductible.

Preschool Rates
Enrollment Fee: A $125 non-refundable enrollment fee (per child) must accompany the enrollment packet to officially enroll your child in the Preschool & Pre Kindergarten Program.

Part-Time - (Effective August 21, 2012)
2 days per week 8am - 11:30 am: $120 per month
3 days per week 8am - 11:30 am: $140 per month
5 days per week 8am - 11am: $250 per month
(Must be picked up no later than 11:30am.)
Preschool or Pre-Kindergarten 2-4 days per week 7am - 6pm: $35 per day
(Must be picked up no later than 6pm.)

Full-Time
Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm: $130 per week
(Must be picked up no later than 6pm.)

Part-time mornings only is paid on a monthly basis. Part-time full day and full-time tuition are paid on a weekly basis.

School Age Care
Enrollment Fee: A $50 non-refundable enrollment fee (per child) must accompany the Enrollment packet to officially enroll your child in the Before & After School Program.

Full-time enrollment
Before School Care M-F 7am-7:40am: $25 per week
After School Care - Part Time M-F If picked up by 4:30pm: $25 per week
After School Care - Full Time M-F If picked up after 4:30pm: $45 per week

Drop-In Care (must have 24 hour advance notice for care)
Before School Care 7am-7:40am: $5 per day
After School Care 3:15pm-6pm: $10 per day
(Payment for Drop-in Care must be received on or before the day care is needed.)

Before & After School Care tuition is paid on a weekly basis. The scheduled start date for the Before & After School Program is the first full day of school at St. Matthew Catholic School and the last day is the last full day.
